It neither grows nor falls; rather, it anchors quietly upon the ventricle in an irreversible morbid stasis. This is by no means stillness, but an extremely violent extraction of vitality. The cold metal spirals act as drills and catheters, silently siphoning the host's remaining passion and anxiety. To enshrine this dead silence, you must sacrifice your own life force; when you are completely drained, you will join it among the immortal remains.
