FILE ID:
MARK-003 | Irreversible Deformity of the Phalanges
RECORDED:

CLASSIFICATION:
FERRUM DOMINION / SKELETAL ORTHOTIC
“"You think your bones are hard? Metal is harder. I broke your rebellious habit of making a fist, so you may finally learn to open your hands and offer them to me as a sacrifice."”

[ CLINICAL OBSERVATION ]

Before wearing this metal ring, the specimen habitually clenched their fists, knuckles pronounced, full of defensiveness and aggression. When this double ring—like liquid metal forcibly cooled and set—jammed their joint, the specimen experienced continuous bone-crushing pain. However, rather than removing it, the specimen gradually changed their gripping habits, allowing this miniature metal cast to take over the growth trajectory of the joint.

[ STIGMATA RUBBING ]

After removing the metal exoskeleton, a deep, circular indentation was left on the knuckle, and the joint exhibited a morbid, subtle curve. The specimen's fingers can no longer perfectly close or straighten. Without the constriction of the metal, the specimen's phalanges experience a hollow phantom pain, like a mollusk deprived of its support, unconsciously maintaining the twisted arc from when the ring was "installed."

[ PATHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS ]

This is the physical deprivation of the "right to grip." The integrity of the fingers is a mortal's weapon of resistance. Through the twisted arc of the metal, Auralia forces the specimen to adapt to a morbid curvature , declaring their permanent loss of the capacity to arm themselves. The specimen has surrendered autonomous strength, solidifying this deformity. This is not merely a compromise of the flesh, but a materialized proof of absolute dependence on the divine.
