Chapter Three: The "Lotus-Throne-in-the-Rain" of the "Healing" Deity
Traveler:
"Oh, gentle Deity, the third stop on my journey,
I come bearing the 'new' 'me', and the 'old day's' 'unease'.
Why can your lotus, amidst the 'ripples', stand so transcendent?
Can you use your wisdom to solve this 'entanglement' of 'scars'?"
Healing:
"O traveler, do you see, what it is, that nourishes the 'Lotus'?
It is, that, at the pond's bottom, the deepest 'darkness', that, wordless 'silt'.
The 'past' you 'detest', the 'memory' you 'cannot bear' to look back upon,
Is precisely, the foundation from which, this 'Lotus' of yours, can 'bloom'."
Healing:
"Do you see, that, in the sky, the 'spring rain' that is now falling?
It, was once, all the 'dust' and 'impurity' of the earth.
The 'Cloud' never 'judges', it only 'embraces', taking 'everything' into its 'fold',
Until the 'moment is ripe', it transforms again, into the 'purest' 'sweet dew', to wash the 'Earth'."
Healing:
"Healing, is not, a 'surgery' of 'cutting away',
O traveler, that, is, a 'gentle' acceptance, and a 'compassionate' 'realization'.
Your 'scar', is the 'Cloud'; your 'past', is the 'Silt'.
They, are all, just, waiting,
To be 'delivered' (Du) by, your 'gaze' of 'love'."
Traveler:
"I understand... The 'scar', is not, my 'enemy',
It, is, the 'path' I, once, walked, the 'most loyal' 'witness'.
I, need no, longer 'resist', I need only, like the 'Cloud', 'embrace' my 'own dust',
And then, let the 'rain' of 'compassion', fall, and wash, my 'soul'."
(Epilogue)
The Deity of 【Healing】, spoke no more.
It transformed into that spring rain, nourishing all things silently, and fell gently, upon my, body.
I, extended my hand, looking at that old scar on my palm.
Under the 'baptism' of the 'rainwater', It, too, seemed to have transformed, into the 'vein' of a 'lotus petal'.
Warm, and, soft.
I, with my 'past', had reached a reconciliation.
