Chapter Two: The "Breaking-Ice-Sound" of the "Awakening" Deity

Traveler:
"Oh, gentle Newbirth, the second stop on my journey,
I come bearing the 'ice' of Order and the 'peace' of Bedrock.
Why is your 'first sound' one of shattering, rather than 'fulfillment'?
Can you use your wisdom to solve this 'dilemma' of 'perfection'?"

Awakening:
"O traveler, has the 'Bedrock' beneath your feet ever 'complained'
About that restless seed in its 'bosom', stirring its 'sleep'?
The 'perfection' you cherish is the 'stillness' of the Earth,
But what I bring is the awakening of that 'seed'."

Awakening:
"It never thought to be an 'enemy' to the Bedrock;
It even loved the 'darkness' and 'stillness' that once enveloped It.
But, Its 'roots' yearn to sink downward, into deeper 'earth',
Its 'bud' yearns to reach upward, to kiss the 'first ray' of dawn."

Awakening:
"Shattering is not a 'judgment' upon the 'old days',
O traveler, that is Life's 'most honest' 'cry' to itself.
That 'imperfect' crack is the 'root's' medal, the 'bud's' laurel crown;
It is the inevitability a 'soul' must endure 'to become itself'."

Traveler:
"I understand... 'Perfection' is the 'peace' of the 'destination',
But the 'imperfect' shattering is the proof of 'Life' itself.
'Spring' never denies 'Winter's' 'solemn stillness',
It merely, upon that 'hardest' place, leaves 'a' kiss-mark 'of love'."

(Epilogue)

The Deity of 【Awakening】, smiling, transformed into that ray of dawn illuminating the ice-crack.
I bent down and pressed my ear against that scar on the Earth.
I heard it.
Beneath the 'perfect' 'order' of the 'Old World',
The 'countless' 'seeds' emitting
That faintest, yet most steadfast,
Sound of heartbeats.
