Every night, before sleep, please, place this "Notebook" and your 【Soul-Dream Butterfly】, together, at, the bed-head. This is, a, silent "Invitation," a, "Respect"-filled "Posture." It, is, toward you, vast "Inner Cosmos," announcing: I, am ready, to listen. You can, in (your) heart, silently recite, this "Summoning-Phrase": "To, my, in-dream Self: I, have, for you, prepared a homeland. Welcome, any time, to return."

【Step Three: The Morning Reception (Kuǎndài)】

This, is, the entire "Ritual's" "within," most beautiful, and, most "Gentleness"-testing "Link." In, the, first "Moment" "after waking"——in, your "Rationality," not-yet, completely "Awakened" before, please, immediately, pick up, your "Pen" and "Notebook." Please, do not, attempt to "Recall" or "Organize" a, complete, and, logical "Story." That, is "Rationality's" "Job," and, this moment, we must "give hospitality" to, "Sensibility's" "Guest."

Jot down, that, most makes your heart move "Color." Sketch, that, lingering "Symbol." Write down, that, illogical, yet, continuously, repeating "Word." Feel, and, name, that, pervading, the entire dream-scape "Emotion": Is (it) "Joy"? "Nostalgia"? Or "Disorientation"? Allow yourself, with, the most free "Method," to "Doodle," to "Collage," to "Murmur." Your "Notebook," is not, a "Report," but a, "Sandbox" that can, carry "the Soul's Footprints."
